Recently I have been playing the Gamecube game Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. While most are probably familiar with the platform jumping Mario games, I find myself enjoying the Mario RPG type of games .

I guess what I really enjoy is that there are just a LOT of funny scenes in this game. The one part I really found extremely funny was the Princess Peach "fanservice" part...



 As usual, Peach gets kidnapped. But this time it is by a group called X-nauts. Even Peach says at one point in the game,"I've been kidnapped. Again. Mario and Toadstool are most probably worried about me. Again."

So at certain points in the game, you get to control Princess Peach. Since she was put in a nice bedroom by her captors, there wasn't much to do except try to find a way out. The only thing that CAN be done is for Peach to go in the bathroom and take a shower...

    

        



So after that scene, the door to her room mysteriously opens! She finds out that the main computer was keeping tabs on her and suddenly found itself falling in love with her ^_^ (Anyway, when Peach takes a shower, she hums different Mario tunes...)

Anyway, this whole thing just cracked me up.

There are also certain points in the game when you can control Bowser. He's angry because someone besides him kidnapped Princess Peach! How dare they! The Bowser scenes are mostly comedic(as he gazes admiringly at his statues in his castle, or he goes tearing through Level 1-1 of the Super Mario game) And of course we get a glimpse of the twisted perspective from the villain's side with such comments like these:



Anyway, I'm still in the middle of playing the game, but it was such a hoot that I just sometimes find myself laughing at how funny some of the dialogue are...
